Funnily enough I really love that background, it has something quite artistic to it, and kinda looks like a review of her life or something. Overall it is not a bad piece but it could be improved. For one, while the shading on most parts is good, the face could really need more shades, it looks so flat compared to the rest. Also the skin would really need some texture in order to look real and not so plastic-like. The foot and the hand seem to be a little out of shape, probably you should use references for them, it will help you finding the right proportions. I like the pose you have chosen with the movement in it, but it is definitely not the easiest.
